On October 21, the opening of the IV International Conference “Integration of Information Systems and Intellectual Technologies in the Transformation of the Information Society” dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies took place at PSAU.
Rector of the University Valentyna Aranchii, Head of the Department Yurii Utkin, Deputy Head of the Department of Agricultural Development of Poltava Regional State Administration Viktor Skryl and other guests and participants of the event delivered welcoming speeches at the plenary session. As part of the discussion of modern applied aspects of the introduction of digital technologies in vital areas of production, education, and business, a multilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed between the members of the regional cluster “Agroindustry 4.0”, the Department of Agricultural Development of Poltava Regional State Administration, PSAU, Kvart-Soft LLC, KvartSoft-Agro LLC, the “Industry 4.0 Implementation Center”, and the Poltava Regional Association of Local Governments.
The main goal of this cooperation is to support the activities of local communities with modern systems and technologies. After the plenary session, the conference participants continue to work in breakout sessions online.
In 2021, the Department of Information Systems and Technologies of Poltava State Agrarian University celebrates its 50th anniversary. On this occasion, on October 21, the institution hosted the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Integration of Information Systems and Intellectual Technologies in the Transformation of the Information Society”.
Currently, the Department of Information Systems and Technologies has 4 modern specialized computer and 2 educational and research laboratories equipped with the latest requirements of science and technology. This makes it possible to provide the educational process for all specialties of the University, as well as to train higher education students in educational and professional programs of two levels – bachelor’s and master’s – in the specialty 126 Information Systems and Technologies.
